Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information

UPDATE 05/11/2020 – We have made the hard decision based on numerous factors to close the offices until 3rd December 2020. We hope to continue operating from then onwards – The decision was hard but with yet another lock-down this decision was taken away from us. We look forward to working with you again soon! At Playback Events we take the safety of our customers extremely seriously and that doesn’t change now during the current uncertainty regarding coronavirus (COVID-19).

We wish to take this opportunity to reassure our customers that we are continually reviewing the advice given by the UK government and have implemented necessary adjustments into our daily operational practices.

At present we are still operating fully and all privately booked events are continuing at this time. This will be continually reviewed by our management based on government advice, so is subject to change. We will aim to give all our customers will events already booked as much notice as possible should the situation change.

We are advising our customers to check with their venues to see if they are still operating – this is not the responsibility of Playback Events.

We are advising that all event organisers cooperate with government advice. Before any event, please check with your guests and should they display any of the following symptoms they they should be self isolating and not attend your event.

The most common symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19) are recent onset of:

  • new continuous cough and/or
  • high temperature

Our own staff have been issued advice around hand washing and personal safety. At all our events we will have hand sanitiser available for our staff, who will be using it regularly. We will be wiping equipment down after each use.

With all this being said, please bare in mind the advice given around vulnerable people. Along with the advice around avoiding large gatherings and unnecessary travel. Based on this, we are offering all our customers the opportunity to rearrange their events to another date (dependant on availability.) Please contact us should you decide you want to do this.
